The HURRAH PLAYERS presents "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer-The Broadway Musical"  - Friday, March 19  at 7pm in the Maguire Theatre

Arts of the Albemarle welcomes Hugh Copeland and the Hurrah Players. They will be performing Mark Twain's irrestible story of a fourteen year old boy growing up in the heartland of America. This age old classic comes to exuberant life in this Broadway adaption of America's favorite book. Jonathan Byrd - Saturday, March 20  at 7pm in the Maguire Theatre

Arts of the Albemarle welcomes Jonathan Byrd in concert, Saturday, March 20th.  A Chapel Hill native, Jonathan has been making waves on the music scene since winning the North Carolina Songwriter's Co-op "Song of the Year" in 2000.  His music ranges from bluegrass to country blues - one critic hailed him as "the Alison Krauss of the male gender."   For more information about Jonathan and his music, visit www.jonathanbyrd.com .

The Coastal Cohorts in Concert
March 26 at The Center

The Coastal Cohorts, featuring Don Dixon, Bland Simpson, and Jim Wann, will be performing in The Maguire Theatre on March 26th at 8pm. Celebrating their 25th anniversary, the Coastal Cohorts are performing in North Carolina as a benefit for the North Carolina Coastal Federation.
