Photography Club

The Photography Club was formed in 2004, as part of Arts of The Albemarle, and continues to grow with over 50 members.  The club is dedicated to the art of photography and is open to AOA members of all ages, interests and photographic abilities.  Members range from beginners and those using point-and-shoot cameras, to skilled photographers using more sophisticated equipment.  The objective is to learn from each-other.  All members share an interest in photography – traditional or digital.

Club activities consist of workshops, field trips, guest speakers and monthly competition.  During our twice-per-month meetings we share our photos and discuss how we could improve our picture-taking skills.  We plan programs to the interest of all members.

Jeff Linn's "Twin Peaks"The Photography Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at the AOA Gallery.  Our meetings are informal and in the spirit of fun and enjoyment.  New members are always welcomed.  Feel free to pay us a visit.
